Safelet India was launched on the 14th of December 2018 during the ITT Tech Fest Bombay, in Mumbai and on the 16th of December 2018 during the Nirbhaya Chetna Diwas, in New Delhi, India. Before the launching a partnership between the Nirbhaya Jyoti Trust and Safelet was established as well as the support of the Dutch Embassy or the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands.
We presented the product, the anthem and the logo (designed by Arletta Kaper) of the campaign Not Me - Mai Nahi, the promotional film of Safelet India and our partnerships.
The anthem Not Me, Mai Nahi is dedicated to Nirbhaya Jyoti and all the victims of sexual violence and rape all over the world. In support of Safelet India.
The lyrics of Not Me, Mai Nahi were written by Shireen Kaijadoe. The music is composed by Shireen Kaijadoe, Bastiaan Siemerink en Sebastiaan Oosthout.
With the support of Jigsaw Company Pune, we realized a tailor made version of Safelet India, a promotional film. The promotional film explains brief on how the Safelet works and what its impact is. It shows how the community of guardians plays the most important role in creating Safety for the victim in an emergency situation. Last but not least it gives the instructions on where and how to download the free application of Safelet.
